Demi Pearce founded Coastal Kids in 2020 to provide a quality, nurturing child care service for local and visiting families in the Port Stephens, Newcastle & Hunter Region.

Demi is an easy going, approachable person who is passionate about creating a relaxed, enjoyable & safe space for the children in her care. Demi is also an advocate for encouraging children to learn through play and creating play based experiences.

Demi currently has 8 years experience caring for children, both in childcare centres and home based care services. With a Diploma & Certificate 3 in Early Childhood Education and Care, Working With Children Check (WWCC) and First Aid & Asthma & Anaphylaxis - Demi confirms she is not just a ‘babysitter’ but a qualified, responsible & professional childcare educator within her roles. Specialising in all age range care for children.

 The demand for childminding has lead to the expansion of our 'Hire Service'. This offers children’s essential travel items for families staying in Port Stephens.
